Insurance Coordinator

The insurance coordinator is responsible for confirming that the patient scheduled has active coverage and communicating to their said office when a patient’s insurance is inactive or there are any discrepancies that would need to be discussed with the parent upon arrival.

Other duties responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Correctly updating insurance tables in Dentrix
  • Properly documenting notes for staff
  • Communicating directly with billers for unprocessed claims/errors
